The Many Faces of Elizabeth

Hmmm? Do we have some gender issues going on? Check out Mama's high heels, Robin Hood's belt, her sword, all the while caring for her tacky little rabbit. "I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan,......" Very surprising to see Elizabeth asleep while listening to a book. She would rather be read to than almost ANYTHING else on the planet. This was way past naptime, though, and there had been a lot of excitement with our buddy Cameron coming over. Too precious! Notice Clark's willingness to be photographed.
She loves to try on shoes. Even the slippers for her "Build a Bear" are worth trying on :)
"My sword!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "You can't have my treasure!" "Neb-er!" Not in most 2 year old girl's vocabularies, but hey..."When in Rome.....". She truly can back her brothers up into a corner during a sword fight. Mainly b/c they actually use some restraint and she goes full force, but she will back them up saying, "Take that, and that, you scurvy pi-wate."

What a doll she is. They all are, but her hair is adorable. Kate's is so curly I don't think it will ever get that long....

Thank you! I was looking at those pics again and realized what a rag-a-muffin she looks like in each of them. Oh well. The beginning of the day those locks are under control, but as we progress into playtime-the hair can go EVERYWHERE! Kate's is precious, too. I love how tightly her curls get.
The chart came from a great place called Doorposts.net. It's called the "If-Then" chart. Some of the verses that are provided are a little old for our little ones, so we've just picked some new ones to go along with different offenses. It may look kinda' tacky, but we keep in on the hallway door in VERY plain view. Quite helpful b/c somedays we spend a lot of time in front of it.:) They also have a great notebook called "Instructions in Righteousness". A little overwhelming at first, but a great guide totally going to scripture for all references. We ordered a few other charts (Blessing, etc.), but feel they need to be a little older before using that one.
Take care!
Amy
