Best Easter Pic

Even though nobody is looking at the camera while they are saying "CHEEEESE" and the background is Elizabeth's Sunday school room, this still is the best Easter pic of all three. I wonder if this is one of the ways the Lord is teaching me to be content in all things. Really---they're smiling, dressed, all tongues are in their mouths, and no fingers are close to noses. I SHOULD be thankful . I'm still working on it :-)

Conversations I Don't Want to Forget.....

My 3 boys (Matt, F, and C) are totally cracking me up as the three of them are watching the Red Sox/"Ankees" game in our family room. They're cheering, clapping, dancing, high fiving (the Red Sox finally turned it up with 3 homeruns in a row :-) )and TALKING to the TV. (I might add they're now singing b/c the team captain just hit ANOTHER homerun!!!!!)
Foster just said -He just launched it to mars! Just like I do in the backyard!
Also precious opportunity to teach being a good sport---Clark has said "those stinkin' Ankees" many a time, and is now coming around to saying just "Let's go Red Sox" (while doing the FSU Seminole chop the whole time.)

Clark asked me to bring the piano upstairs today so he "could make a little music." Foster decided to be the "conductor" and they were going to have a "wonderful concert." As I'm walking out of the room, I hear Clark say "1, 2, 3...hit it boys!" And he starts banging on the kiddie (very pink Barbie :-) ) piano. Not quite Mozart, but entertaining just the same.

This morning as we were getting ready for church, Clark HAD to go get his Bible to bring to church. Of course Foster had to go get his, too. Clark's is quite large and heavy, but Foster chose the one from his baby dedication so it could fit in his pocket. "Mom, I like to carry God's word with me."
Me-"Why do you think He wrote that to you?"
F-"He wants me to read it and learn all about Him. Actuwally He wants me to write His words on my heart so I can know Him"
Me-speechless but praising My Father in my heart
F-"Hey Mom. I really don't know what God looks like. But one day, he'll come back and I'll see Him face to face. Then I don't have to wonder anymore."
Me-"That's so exciting isn't it!!!! Well, it's not so important right now that we know what He LOOKS like but what how He SOUNDS when He speaks to us."
F-"Right Mom. I do hear Him speak."
Me-with doubt I must admit--"You do? Like when?"
F-"Oh, when the winds blows (yep--wind is plural), the birds sing, you know. " (all of this very matter of factly)
I'm pretty much floating as this point, but return to earth as Foster quickly moves to the next thought and challenges me to a race to the door.

C- Is Elizabeth going to be home tomarwow? I'm really missing my sistewr. I REALLY am missing hewr.
